Reference Standard: IS: 13778 Part-5:2012, IEC 60851-5:2008 and other equivalent standards.
Test: High Voltage Breakdown test @50Hz.
Motorized Dimmer to vary the test voltage
Selector switch to select test Voltage Range 2KV or 10KVAC.
Test Voltage: 1) Range: 0 to 10KVAC. Rise of voltage 500V/s approximately.
- 2) Range: 0 to 2KVAC. Rise of Voltage 100V/s approximately.
Digital KV Meter, LC: 0.01KV and accuracy: ±3%.
Fault Indicator ON when a current of 5 ±
Digital AC milli Ammeter range 19.99mA; LC: 0.01mA and accuracy class 0.5
Polished metal cylinder 25±1mm diameter provided for testing up to and including 0.10mm diameter wire.
Input Supply requirements: Single Phase 230VAC, 50Hz, 6A with proper Earthing.
