Reference Standard: IS: 13360 Part-6/Section-9, ASTM D 2843 and other Equivalent Standards.
Method: To Measure and Observe relative amount of Smoke Obscuration produced by the burning or decomposition of Plastics. The Measurements are made in terms of the loss of light transmission through a collected volume of smoke produced under controlled, standardized conditions.
Direct Readout of Smoke density rating.
All readings of % Absorption, temperature and time will be stored in each 15s for 4 minutes of test time.
The controller will store all readings and can get all readings after testing.
Can get online readings and graphs through software and can print Test Reports.
Microprocessor-based Controller.
Pressure gauge to check gas pressure and pressure regulator to control gas pressure.
Specimen holder with Screen.
Burner provided at an angle of 45°.
Chamber 300 X 300 X 790mm Made in Aluminium.
Exhaust fan with Pipe provided.
